PACIFIC OCEAN (March 17, 2019) Marines and Sailors aboard the amphibious transport dock ship USS Somerset (LPD 25) load supplies onto landing craft, air cushion vehicles in the well deck during Pacific Blitz 2019. Pacific Blitz 2019 is an opportunity for Forces to increase maritime readiness to be prepared for real-world crisis situations. Pacific Blitz 2019 provides realistic, relevant training necessary for effective global crisis response expected of the Navy and Marine Corps.
