OTIS GREENVILLE, MISS. IDLE HOUR FLORAL CO. Meb. W. iu Craft, Designer. 701 Percy Street up all consignments as they came into the market. The difficulty of obtaining stock and the high prices caused many of the retailers to use artificial flowers in designs. The supply of roses was short, but of excellent quality, especially Premier, which has had the call over Russell throughout the season, but all sell well when there is a scarcity. Ophelia and Columbia were of high quality. All varieties of Killarneys have sold well all season. Last week carnations had clean sales daily, with the prices for extra fancies as high as $15 per hun- dred, few being sold under that price. Spencer sweet peas arrived, but not yet in large quantities; the few that came were of excellent quality and were soon taken. Violets came in well and sold at from $1 to $ per hundred. The weather has favored a big crop for this week. The market also cleaned up daily on snapdragons, calendulas, stevia, daisies and mignonette. Paper Whites and val- ley had a big call. Orchids were in large demand all week, because of the many large social affairs. A few callas were to be had, but no Easter lilies. In greens the market was much bet- ter off than during the previous week. Still, everything sold out daily, aspara- %as and adiantum going most easily. Club Meeting.
