A Chinese carved ivory lidded jar, circa 1840, A round, turned jar with an inset base. Three exquisitely carved cartouches with figurative and floral relief ornamentation at the sides. Slip lid on the top with inset floral carving. Minor shrinkage cracks, the jar slightly knocked on one side of the base. Height cm.
