A public rubbish bin still being used in Shepherds Bush, London, UK even though only the short base remains.

With this design of bin, a taller section usual exists which connects with the lower, weighted section. The bin is emptied by lifting off the top section to reveal a metal container inside which goes the green bag. Clearly the whole top section has gone (vandalised? stolen?) but the short, heavy lower base remains and is still being used as a bin.
