The Mill Pond is located by St Mary's Church in the oldest part of Swanage. The water is from underground sources draining from the Purbeck Hills. The old Purbeck stone water mill, built in 1754, has been turned into two homes. The walls surrounding the mill pond are Grade II listed and thought to date back to the 18th century.
