Relief Depicting the Nurse Tia, New Kingdom, Amarna Period, Dynasty 18, ca. 1353–1336 , From Egypt; Probably originally from Amarna (Akhetaten); Probably from Middle Egypt, Hermopolis (Ashmunein; Khemenu), Limestone, paint, h. cm (9 1/8 in); w. 54 cm (21 1/4 in); th. cm (1 7/16 in), The large figure of the king, at the left, and the smaller figure of a young woman offering bread loaves appear to be participating in two different scenes. The sidelock of hair would usually identify the girl as a princess, but here, the inscription behind her reads 'the nurse of the king's daughter Ankhesenpaaten, Tia,' and it seems likely that this is a representation of the nurse
