Iceland. Infrared photo of the extinct volcano Snaefell, the highest peak on the Snaefellsnes peninsula on the west coast of Iceland in July 1973

Iceland in July 1973 long before it became a popular tourist destination for nature lovers. The image is of a scanned 35mil transparency from Kodak Infrared film when colour is seen as an opposite apart from blue hence the red is actually green foliage, but since its a photograph of Snaefell the highest peak on the Snaefell peninsula on the west of Iceland and a previous volcano it looks like the mountain side is flowing with hot molten lava.
