Benjamin McFatridge trains their Japanese Self Defense Forces (JSDF) counterpart on controlling a Air Force B-1b Lancer during Exercise Keen Sword 17 on the island of Tinian, Nov. 8 2016. Keen Sword is the largest joint, bilateral field training exercise between the military and JSDF. The exercise is the designed to increase combat readiness and interoperability within the framework of the alliance.
