LOUIS CAR COMPANY AT LOUISIANA PURCHASEEXPOSITION In previous issues some brief descriptions have been given ofthe St. Louis Car Companys extensive exhibit at the LouisianaPurchase Exposition. The exhibit has had a number of in-teresting features added to it since, and it is only recently thatthe magnificent private car Milwaukee for John I. Beggs,. THE LONDON AND DUBLIN DOUBLE-DECK CARS ON EXHIBIT president of the Milwaukee Electric Railway & Light Company,has been finished to complete the exhibit. A full descriptionof this exhibit, which is the largest of its kind in the Palaceof Transportation as well as the largest made by any other concern, has therefore been deferred until the making this display what it is, the company must be creditedwith something more than a desire to impresselectric railway men who may visit the Expo-sition. As a St. Louis manufacturer, it hasshown a commendable desire to contribute gen-erously to the popular educational value of thetransportation exhibits, and so to the successof the Exposition. Besides being a display ofthe many types of car construction turned outat the great shops in Baden, St. Louis, the ex-hibit is a history of street railway car con-struction from the mule car to the presentcoaches for high-speed interurban service.
