Staff Sgt. Jerry Colvin connects an instructor to a rappel line during a ceremony at Stone Bay, a Camp Lejeune satellite training area, , May 17, 2017. The ceremony marks the reopening of Landing Zone Vulture, which closed Sept. 2, 2015 after a CH-53 crashed resulting in the death of one Marine. The instructors took the opportunity to memorialize their fallen Marine, Staff Sgt. Jonathan Lewis, through the sustainment rappel.
