The Charola is a central space in the Templar Palace of Tomar, Portugal. The Magnificent chapel of the Convent of the Knights of Christ inspired by the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem. The 16-sided chapel and high vaulted arches allowed the worrior monks of the Knights Templar to enter while riding their horses. The walls of the chapel are adorned with magnificent 16th century it is an important historical and religious landmark.
