The first Christian spring feast after Easter is Jurjevo. It is marked on April 23rd by burning the creatures and devoted to the warrior, the martyr and the saint who acts against the dark forces and to convey them. In the people, Jurjevo is considered to be the very beginning of the spring and the economic year, or the victory of the light over the darkness. Evening on the eve of Jury's people, they traditionally gathered, drank, danced and sang, worn green twigs and burned the creature. The Jurjevic creatures have fallen from ancient times, and they have been called to wake up for the spring
