Maiden's blush or peach, dainty in color and shade ; the contrast and effect of the bright golden anthers add a peculiar charm to this variety. Lady Penzance. Beautiful soft tint of copper with a peculiar metallic lustre ; the base of each petal is a bright yellow, which, allowing through the clear golden anthers, forms a lialo round tliem ; very free flowering, with a delicious perfume from foliage and flower. Lord Penzance. Soft shade of fawn or 6cru passing to a lovely lemon yellow in the centre, sometimes toned with a most delicate pink ; very Meg Merrilies. Gorgeous crimson, very free flowering, seeds abundantly, robust habit, large foliage. Strong two-year-old plants, $ per dozen; $ per 100. New Evergreen Roses. The most remarkable achievement and improvement of a new and distinct type of Hardy Roses, that has been made for a generation. The growth is remarkable for its freedom, a single plant, four years old, covering a space of 240 square feet, with long slioots, twelve to twenty-flve feet in length, completely covering the ground with its bright glossy foliage and showy fragrant flowers. The foliage of all is leathery in texture, shiny, and not only proof against insects, but Ever- green ; that is, keeping the foliage all Winter ; a characteristic in Roses never before obtained.
