Letter thanking Millis for a copy of the survey report which was read to members.; Scope and content: In June, 1904 the US Army Corps of Engineers was tasked to complete a survey of the terrain from Valdez to Eagle, Alaska. Eventually, this road became part of what is now the Alcan Highway. The report mentioned in the letter includes descriptions of the terrain, including many rivers as well as some discussion of wildlife encountered.
