A German miniature falconet,1st half of the 17th century. Tapered,octagonal cast iron barrel,becoming round,rifled in 19 mm calibre with a baluster-shaped muzzle ring. Side-mounted trunnions with serpent-shaped dolphins above them. Vent on top with two marks stamped on the side in front of it. Beveled,tapered cascabel. On the original wooden carriage with iron mountings. Somewhat dirty. Iron parts with heavy patina. One trunnion clamp missing. Barrel length cm.
