From these tracts a plexus of rierve-fibresis developed in connexion with the musculature and cuticle. The Trematodes are divided into three orders, primarily distin-guished by the character of their suckers, viz.: Hetcrocotylea,Aspidocotylea and Malacocotylea. Order i. Hcterocotylea.—Ectoparasitic Trematodes, in which alarge posterior adhesive apparatus is present and is usually accom-panied by a pair of suckers placed anteriorly in relation to the large posterior organ of attachment is usually wheel-shapedand provided with hooks; but the ridges may become separated 1 .!?.,-:\^ ,± T ^^-v:.
