Dolmabahce Palace.
Ottoman Empire. Turkey. Constantinople. Dolmabahce Palace. Its construction was ordered by the Sultan Abdulmecid I, and buit between 1843 and 1856 on the European coast of the Strait of Istanbul. The project was realized by architects Garabet Balyan, nigogayos Balyan and Evanis Kalfa. northern wing (Harem-i Humayun, the Harem), private residential area for the Sultan and his family.
