NAVAL BASE KITSAP-BREMERTON, Wash. – (Oct. 5, 2016) Petty Officer 1st Class William Elliot, a native of Riverside, Calif., uses a laser range finder while standing security watch on the flight deck as USS Nimitz (CVN 68) departs Puget Sound Naval Shipyard to conduct sea trials as part of the completion of a 20-month extended planned incremental availability.
