Abdomen whitish-ochrcous, forewings elongate, rather nari'ow, posteriorly somewhat dilated, costa gently arched, apex round-pointed, termen concave^oblique ; white, pai'tially linged and irregularly irrorated with fuscous, with scattered blackish strigulaj; anterior § of costa regularly strigulated with blackish ; three irregular brassy-golden fascioe edged with pale fuscous, first subbasal, obsolete on costa, second some- what before middle, third at §, narrow and more or less interrupted ; a small fuscous spot on costa at * : cilia ochreous-orangCy externally with three rows of dark purple-fuscous points, Hindwings pale grey ; cilia grey-whitioh. One specimen, Maskeliya, Ceylon, in December (Pole), TiNEIDiE. Opostega zelopa n. sp. 9. 5 mm. Head and thorax white. Antennae light grey, eyecap Forewings lanceolate ; white ; a broad dark fuscous antcpior fascia, on costa extending from ^ to middle, much dilated downwards and on dorsum extending from n3:xr base to nsar toraus, a fine dark fuscous irregular line from f of costa to termen beneath apex, area beyond this fuscous ; a minute black apical dot :: cilia light greyish-ochrcous.
