Larva reddish ochreous, with long paired black dorsal tufts on 2nd and 3rd somites; a lateral series of tubercles bearing black hairs; somites 4-11 with dorsal ridges of black and blue hair extending to above lateral tubercles; the last two somites with dorsal setiferous tubercles.
