Reverse-shock echoing back through the jets of a gamma-ray burst. This artwork is based on ALMA (Atacama Large Millimeter Array) observations of GRB 161219B. This GRB is over 2 billion light years from Earth, in the constellation of Lepus. The associated supernova is known as SN 2016jca and occurred in December 2016.
