World Number One and defending Champions, Australia, are through to the NWC2015 Gold Medal match after defeating the fourth ranked Jamaican Sunshine Girls in an impressive 67-56 show down in front of a world record netball crowd of 16,244 at Allphones Arena on August 15, 2015 in Sydney. The Netball World Cup Sydney 2015 was the fourteenth staging of the tournament, contested every four years. Sixteen nations competed at the championships, including the top six teams from the 2011 World Netball Championships in Singapore.
