A Gothic figure of a guard, Rhineland, circa 1460/70. Made of one piece of carved oak wood. Old polychrome paint, minimally restored, rubbed with several small flaws. Hollowed torso, tension cracks at the base and helmet, bumped with small losses. Hands and weapon missing. Height 86 cm.
