ATLANTIC OCEAN (June 3, 2017) A naval flight officer from the “Jolly Rogers” of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 103 prepare to enter the cockpit of an F/A-18E Super Hornet on the flight deck of Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72). Abraham Lincoln is underway conducting flight deck certification to ensure both the ship and air wing are able to safely launch and recover aircraft.
