Her Majesty the Queen & The Princess Royal on a visit to Lake Windermere They met members of Windermere Lake Cruise before embarking on steamer The Teal for a sightseeing tour of the lake. She disembarked at Brockhole the National Park Visitors centre. Nigel Wilkinson, managing director of Windermere Lakes Cruises, said: "Following an invitation from the Lord Lieutenant, we are extremely proud to have been given the honour of welcoming Her Majesty the Queen and Her Royal Highness the Princess Royal to Windermere."
