'Daniel interprets the dream of Nebuchadnezzar', 1916. Nebuchadnezzar II (c630-562 BC), ruler of Babylon in the Chaldean Dynasty, is mentioned in the Book of Daniel. He conquered Judah and Jerusalem and sent the Jews into exile. He also was responsible for the consruction of the Hanging Gardens of Babylon.
