KUNAR PROVINCE, Afghanistan - Navy Lt. Kimberly Herm documents findings during a quality assurance check of the Whatapur Canal July 10, 2012. Provincial Reconstruction Team Kunar visited the canal along with provincial officials to conduct a check on the finalized construction along the canal which provides water to more than 3,000 families. The PRT is made up of Navy, Army, Air Force and civilians who work alongside local government officials to reconnect the people of Afghanistan with their government.
