The barn owl spreads its three-foot wings COTSWOLDS, ENGLAND MAJESTIC IMAGES of a barn owl in flight have been taken as it soars in UK skies. Images show the barn owl spreading its enormous three-feet-wings as it flies through the sky. These images were captured by Dispatch Controller James Poole (27) from Wolverhampton, England. James captured the images at Cotswold Falconry Centre, Batsford England. ?As I usually do a monthly visit to the Cotswolds falconry, I was just about to put my kit away for the day when we noticed the team had let their beautiful Barn Owl take flight to the beautiful Cotswold skies,? said James. ?I approached the flying arena and saw the Barn Owl take flight, as they were short flights I had to be quick in picking my shots wisely. ?Birds of prey have become a favourite species to capture for me and seeing a bird in flight always makes me smile. ?I was roughly ten feet away from the action which meant I got to be up close on the action. ?I love the images in this set, it shows the natural beauties of the owl taking flight. ?My Barn Owl images received some awesome feedback along with the new gear I used on the ENDS
