This is an image of a mating pair of Rhagonycha fulva, or Soldier beetle. There is a fourteen-spot ladybird to the right of the pair. The image was taken using a Nikon D7100 camera fitted with a Sigma 105mm macro lens. The settings were 1/125th at f8.
