Fossilised tooth of an ichthyosaur (Themnodontosaurus sp.) found in Lyme Regis, UK, from the Sinemurian age, dating around 190 million years. The crown of the tooth measures 2 centimetres. Ichthyosaurs were marine dinosaurs that lived during the Jurassic, in what is now Europe. Collection Jean-Philippe et Francois-Xavier Blouet, paleontologists.
