New Stone and Bronze Age rock carvings, Nämforsen, Näsåker, Ångermanland, Sweden.


The nearby barrage, which impounds the river Ångermanälven, and hydroelectric power station were planned in the 1940s, when the rock carvings, some dating from 3000 BC, were discovered and found to be so valuable that the power station was re-sited.
