THE DINGEE fi CONARD CO., West Grove, Penna. New Fringed * * Shasta Daisy ' Baltimore. WEATHER HELPS TRADE. The most delectable weather has been the favored portion of this section for the last few weeks. There has been enough frost to give animation to all creation and crispness and color to roses and carnations. All this has had a beneficial effect upon trade and qualities and prices are moving up- wards, whilst the daily demands show a gratifying increase. Carnations are coming in good quantities, roses quite abundant enough, but violets are scarce. The Christmas stock of plants seems abundant, and there will be no lack in any direction. Poinsettias, which in no wise decline in popularity for the uses of the holiday season, are in good shape; lilies, too, are in fair prospect, and the customarv subjects in demand for the holidays seem to be sufficient for the market's needs. The markets seem lively with an unusually variegated assortment of foliage and (lowering plants, and few complaints are heard of dullness of trade, every- body being hopeful that better times have really come and to stay. NOTES. Robert Schmidt, a gardener living long in the vicinity of London Park cemetery, where he was employed for many years past, died on Tuesday
