Sydney, Australia. 16th August, 2015. Australia have won the Netball World Cup again after a narrow victory against the Silver Ferns 58-55 at Allphones Arena on August 16, 2015 in Sydney. The Australian Diamonds defended their world title and defeated the New Zealand Silver Ferns in front a netball world record crowd of 16,849 at Allphones Arena. The Netball World Cup Sydney 2015 was the fourteenth staging of the tournament, contested every four years. Sixteen nations competed at the championships, including the top six teams from the 2011 World Netball Championships in Singapore.
