He immediately formed a partner-ship with Waldo C. Varney and Prank , under the firm name of Demeritt &Varney Brothers, for the purpose of engagingin general mercantile business. This concernhas fitted up s]jacious quarters located uponthe ground floor of John factory,fronting on the main thoroughfare of the vil-lage ; and they carry a large stock of generalmerchandise, including dry goods, boots andshoes, paints and oils, furnishing goods, gro-ceries, Hour and ^>^SE
