Remains of Hadrian's Wall, the ancient Roman border-wall through Northern England, as they wind down the hills to famous Sycamore Gap scenic point west of Housesteads Roman Fort. Running along the whole of the UNESCO Heritage site, Hadrian's Wall Path is one of the most popular hiking-trails in England. The famous tree was cut down in an act of vandalism in 2023.

Sycamore Gap was the location of the starting scene of the Robin Hood movie with Kevin Costner and Morgan Freeman from 1991.
