One of the most beautiful and serene hill stations that you would come across in the country is Coonoor, this is the second largest hill station in Nilgiri ranges of Western Ghats. Coonoor is located at an altitude of 1930 m and also at a very close proximity to Ooty. This was discovered by the British who came to visit during the summer vacations in 19th Century.
