TOKYO, JAPAN: ICE-CUBES have been transformed into three-inch tall works of art thanks to 3D PRINTERS. Eye-poppingly detailed designs for mini-ice sculptures dropped into whiskey tumblers include a shark attack, a mermaid, the Statue of Liberty and a diamond ring – but because the ideas come from whiskey drinkers, anything goes. The mini-ice sculptures on display were all competition entries submitted to award-winning Japanese brewer and distiller, Suntory. Suntory Executive Creative Director Kazoo Sato explained a little bit about the campaign.
