The city has recently taken over theownership of the beach front, and muchlias already been done to make the esplan-ade and board walk, which is eighty feetwide and some three miles in length, aspecial feature of attraction. There has recently been built a casino ofmanniioth propoilions on one of the piersextending into the ocean, and reached di-rectly from the board walk, and in thisamphitheater, under the supervision of the municipal beach commission, is given aseries of daih concerts and entertainmentsby the best and most noted musical organ-izations and artists in America. The roads leading to the inland and sur-rounding countrj are noted for their pic-turcsqueness, and driving and motoring arepopular pastimes. An adequate trolley linebrings the nearby towns of Avon, Behnar,Spring Lake, Elberon and Long Branchwithin easy riding distance of Asburj Park,while a belt line service in the city connectsthe board walk, public halls and businesscenters with the hotels. The hotels arecomfortable domiciles, with every conven-ience the tourist may exact, and a cuisinewhich is not surpassed anywhere. Thereare also innumerable boarding houses, atwhich very comfortable accommodationsmay be obtained.
