NAVAL AIR STATION SIGONELLA, Italy (Aug. 27, 2021) – A Navy Sailor offers fruit to evacuees from Afghanistan as they wait to check-in after arrival at Naval Air Station (NAS) Sigonella Aug. 27, 2021. NAS Sigonella is currently supporting the Department of State mission to facilitate the safe departure and relocation of citizens, Special Immigration Visa recipients, and vulnerable populations from Afghanistan.
