Grand Challenge Cup with its old base seen in the Prize Tent in the Stewards Enclosure at the 175th Henley Royal Regatta

The much coveted Grand Challenge Cup . 2014 winners Club France, France ,beating Leander Club and University of London (the home team)in the finals Sunday. They will be the first entry on the cup’s new base to the 175-year-old cup )donated in 2014 by Harvard University (USA) oarsmen in memory of head coach Harry Parker. This now replaces the previous base, which is now full up with 174 team winners engraved on it.
