SPRING CATALOGUE OF SEEDS, BULBS AND PLANTS FOR 1916- 13. Guilds' Snowball Tonjato. For many years we have worked to produce a Snow- White Tomato. At last we have it. At last we have one so white that it shows only a faint tinge of straw color. This tint will probably vary a little in different soils, cli- mates and at different times of the year. But for all practical purposes it is a white Tomato, the most beautiful fruit you ever saw, large, smooth, very solid and meaty, and of very finest quality. Its extraordinary size and smooth, regular shape, and almost snow white color makes a wonder- ful novelty. Pkt., 10c.; 3 pkts., 25c. lVe\V Early Ton^ato "John Baer" Tomato is the result of Fifteen Generations of Improvement and Selection for earliness, quality, shape, lruit, color and shipping quality. It produces the most perfect Hiph Crown To- matoes ever grown and enormous crop, 50 to 100 to each plant. Every "John Baer" Tomato ripens evenly, right up to the stem. IS'o cripples, no scalds, no blight, no cracked, no wrinkled, no one-sided, uneven, scarred fruit. When dead ripe will not burst. Has a wonderful glistening bright red color, a mild, deliciously sweet flavor. In shape and form exactly like its photograph. It is almost seedless, a marvelous Stem Setter, often ten fruit in first cluster, soiid and meaty. It has just enough foliage —will stand plenty of manuring without going to vine. "John Baer" is the most perfect shipping To- mato ever grown, weight about 6 % ounces. We find it to be a wonderful Tomato in manv ways, and will surely disappoint no one, re- gardless of high expectations which may be entertained. Per pkt., 15c; 3 pk
