J. Hobbs, manufacturer of Cutting Dies,for Boots, Shoes, Paper Collars, Cuffs, Suspen-ders, etc., T. J. Beaudry, manager, FlorenceStreet, Marlboro, Mass.—This firm was originallyestablished by S. K. Taylor about thirty yearsago, and after several changes, came into thepossession of Hobbs & Mellen in 1875. succeeding the above firm in 1879, withT. J. Beaudry as manager. After carrying onthe business successfully for a period of tenyears Mr. Hobbs became deceased. He was anative of Sturbridge, Mass., and was highlyesteemed by all who knew him. The businessis being continued by T. J. Beaudry, who hasably managed it since 1879. His shop is locatedon Florence street, and is fitted up with all nec-essary machinery, etc., to admit of the filling ofall orders at short notice. Only first class work-men are employed and no pains is spared to keepup the reputation
