A steam locomotive No 218A Class C16 stops to change over to another track at the small town of Clarence near Lithgow in the Blue Mountains of New South Wales, Australia. The cliff-hugging 7km rail return journey takes about 90 minutes from Clarence to Bottom Points at the bottom of a steep valley. It is a terminal junction filled with old locomotives and rolling stock. The famous Indian Pacific train passes through on the Main Western Railway line from Sydney to Perth.
