The popular rearward photograph of fighters in the cockpit are usually of aerial photographers who use themselves to help show the human element in fighter jet environment. This day's mission had her in an "aggressor" aircraft where other fighter pilots attempted to intercept them. Lt. Col. Christopher "Gash" Carlson (not seen) of the 149th Fighter Wing was the pilot for this mission. In this training, only electronic signals and flight data were used to determine if anyone intercepted.
