Special guests were invited to Vigilant Guard/Makani Pahili 2015 and were able to observe specific events. One of the scenarios occurred at Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam on June 5, 2015, and entailed alternate port operations. VIP’s were able to see the efficiency of dockworkers and heavy equipment operators as they conducted loading and unloading of valuable supplies in the event that the main port located at Honolulu Harbor is incapacitated.
