Ringwood, Hampshire, UK. 4th May, 2016. Police have closed a major road this lunchtime following what is being described as a serious incident. A large section of the eastbound carriage way between the A338 Ringwood and the M27 motorway has been closed by Police whilst Accident investigation work takes place. A number of Emergency vehicles have been sent to the scene including Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air ambulance after a vehicle has left the road between Cadnam and Picket post. More updates to follow A spokesman for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Police said "The road was shut for around three hours this morning while officers dealt with the situation. Traffic was diverted off at Ringwood A man and a woman have been injured in the crash and have been taken to hospital. The man was flown by air ambulance with a head injury. The woman suffered broken bones. " @UKNIP
