The 18th-century windmill "Den Haas" from 1727 in Zierikzee (Zeeland), Netherlands
Den Haas is a windmill from 1727 in the town of Zierikzee, in the Dutch province of Zeeland. In 1966 the mill was sold to the municipality, and in 1987 the mill was put into use again. The mill has three pairs of grinding stones. It is a round stone mill covered with oak shales. The blades have a flight of over meters. The mill usually runs on Friday and can be visited. The municipality of Schouwen-Duiveland owns the mill. Jeroen van Dijke is the voluntary miller.
