Proboscis fully developed ; palpi upturned, the 2nd joint reaching to vertex of head and slenderly scaled, the ord long; frons smooth ; eyes large, round ; antenna; of male ciliated ; thorax clothed almost entirely with scales and without crests; tibice slightly fringed with hair; abdomen with dorsal crests on two basal segments, long in male. Fore wing wiili the apex rectangular, the termen evenly curved and not crenulate, the inner mai-gin with slight lobe and scale-tooth before middle ; veins 3 and 5 from near angle of cell; 6 from below upper angle ; 7 from angle; 8, 9, 10 stalked ; 11 from cell. Hind wing with veins 3, 4 from angle of cell; 5 fully developed from just above angle; G, 7 I roui upper angle ; 8 anastoniosing with the cell near base only. A. Fore wing with the basal area pale yellow defined by an obliquely curved silvery line, the terminal area dark chocolate-brown arc ii/hohasi.''. B.
