To all People to whome these present shall comeGreeting know ye that we the subscribers namely John Wilder, Jona-than Houghton, Bezaleel Sawyer & Keziah White all of ye Town ofLancaster, in the County of Middlesex in the Province of MassachusettsBay in New England, and in order to the consumation of a bargain &sale of some Land & Town Right made and formerly agreed upon byour Late Honored Father Josiah White sen. formerly of sd Lancaster. JOHN WHITE. 23 and John Witherby of Stowe in the County aforesaid for whichland and town right the said John Witherby, paid the sum of fivepounds the price agreed upon for it there being twenty acres of thirdDivision upland and twenty pounds Town Right, with right accordinglyin the Stated and other Comonage of sd Lancaster & in all otherDivisions here of & also upon further consideration of ye sum of twentyseven pounds good & cur.* money of New England Equivalent to us inhand well and truly delivered and paid by the above named JohnWetherby, receipt whereof we the said John Wilder, Bezaleel Sawyer,Jonathan Houghton & Keziah White do by these present acknowledge& therewith to be fully satisfied and paid therefore thereof & of everypart thereof do hereby acquit Exonerate and forever discharge him thesaid (John) Joseph Witherby his heirs Admin. assignes for allwhich consideration we the said John Wilder
