Eddie Izzard in Nottingham city centre to support local labour candidates Eddie Izzard visited Nottingham today, Saturday 24th April, in support of local Labour candidates Lilian Greenwood (Nottingham South former MP Alan Simpson) and Chris Leslie (Nottingam East, former MP John Heppell) with their general election campaign. The group met at the Council House in Market Square and slowly walked towards the Victoruia Centre interacting with potential voters as they went. Mr Izzard proved very popular indeed.
